About the owner

Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Tina attended Shaw High School and received her Bachelors of Business Administration from Cleveland State University. She received her first taste of the entertainment industry as an actress in various theater and film productions including “The Wiz”, “Men, Women & Motown” and “Alex Cross”. This sparked an interest in casting which prompted her to become co-owner of Cleveland Style Casting.

Since 2011, her company has cast numerous movies, commercials, television programs,  music videos and stage plays.  Adding ‘Producer’ to her resume, she created HobbsStyle to serve as a production umbrella. Projects produced include “Swing Lowe, Sweet Chariote”,  “3rd Floor West”, "Single & Ready" "Banger” and "Hey Mr. Postman".   Her latest film “A State of Mind” featuring Elise Neal best known for her roles in The Hughleys, Hustle and Flow and Logan, will release in June 2020..

Dedicating her time and energy to establish Ohio as a major player in the independent film industry, Tina organizes a series of networking events called “The Schmooze”.  This widely-attended event brings together actors, crew, filmmakers and professionals annually.  She also teaches a media and arts course for aspiring filmmakers at Cuyahoga Community College.  Tina’s expertise in casting and producing make her a valuable hometown resource.
